WARNING: There is a 214 Stratton Arlington Road in Stratton and West Wardsboro. We are in West Wardsboro one quarter mile from Vermont Route 100. A GPS will often direct people to the Stratton address. Also, GPS has directed people on small dirt roads through the mountains, when we are right next to primary state road.
From the South:
From Brattleboro, Vermont:
We are about 30 miles from Brattleboro. You could take either Route 9 West or Route 30 North; both are about the same distance.
From 9 West in Brattleboro, Vermont:
If you are on I-91, take exit 2, and follow signs for 9 West, Marlboro/Bennington. In Wilmington about 20 miles west, at the first stoplight, take a right onto Route 100 North. Follow 100N, past Mt Snow ski area, to Wardsboro. Watch for the small “Town of Wardsboro” sign as you enter the town near the bottom of the long hill from Dover. As you continue on 100N, you will come to the village of West Wardsboro. Stratton Arlington Road is on the left, and there is good signage indicating the road and the direction on the road to Stratton. We are on the right, a few hundred yards down the road, just past the meadow and Cross Rd on the right. White farmhouse with an attached red barn.
From Route 30 in Brattleboro, Vermont:
If you are on I-91, take exit 3, and take the first right, Putney Road/Route 5, off the rotary. Follow Putney Road as it curves around a park in downtown Brattleboro staying right, and further around to the RIGHT, onto Route 30 North. Follow the signs! Drive about 22 miles north on Route 30, past Newfane, and Townshend to the intersection of route 100 South.
At the t-intersection of Route 100 South, turn left off of Route 30 and follow 100S about 10 miles, past Wardsboro, to Stratton Arlington Road, which is on the right, about one mile past the West Wardsboro Post Office. Five hundred yards west of Rt 100 on Stratton Arlington Road you will see our farm on the right.
From the North:
From Burlington, Vermont:
We are less than 3 hours from Burlington. You can either take the scenic route, via Route 7 South along the west of Vermont, or the highway, I-91 though central Vermont.
From Route 7 South in Burlington, Vermont:
From Route 7 South, take Exit 4 in Manchester, Vermont. Turn Left off the exit ramp onto Route 11 / Route 30 East, following it about 7 miles. Turn RIGHT on Route 30 South when it splits with Route 11. Follow Route 30S to Winhall, and take a right on to Stratton Mountain Road, just past the 7-Eleven gas station.
On Stratton Mountain Road go past the ski area and take a right onto Mountain Road. Follow the windy Mountain Road to the intersection of West Jamaica Road. Take a right on West Jamaica Road and follow it to the intersection of Stratton Arlington Road in the small town of Stratton. Take a right and follow Stratton Arlington Road east about four miles. Our farm is on the left, just before you reach Route 100.
From Burlington and Montpelier, Vermont:
Take I-89 South to I-91 South in White River Junction. Take I-91 South to Exit 6 (Rockingham, VT) and take a left onto 103 West to Rockingham. Take the first left onto Meetinghouse Road. Take the next left onto Rockingham Hill Road. Follow Rockingham Hill Road to the town of Saxons River and the intersection of Rockingham Hill Road Route 121. Take a right and follow Route 121 to Route 35 South, which is your first left. Follow 35S to Townshend at the intersection of Route 30. Take a right onto Route 30 West, past West Townshend to the intersection of Route 100 South. Take a left onto Route 100 South and follow it about 10 miles, past Wardsboro, to Stratton Arlington Road, which is on the right, about one mile past the West Wardsboro Post Office. Five hundred yards west of Rt 100 on Stratton Arlington Road you will see our farm on the right.
From the West:
